Part-time Publishing Intern Opportunities
banQuetpress would like to invite applications for several volunteer intern positions in the areas of marketing, development, event management and editorial administration. This is an excellent opportunity to gain publishing experience with a boutique firm.
banQuetpress specialises in queer and erotic writing. We currently have three titles and are looking for interns who can assist in the production, editing, marketing and distribution of our 2012 anthologies.
Successful applicants will demonstrate abilities in one or more of the following areas:
• Strong administrative skills including managing correspondence, database management and client liaison
• Web content and design
• Internet marketing
• Traditional marketing and public relations
• Event management
• Fundraising
Successful applicants will be expected to be available between five and ten hours a week, depending on publication and event deadlines.
Preference will be given to students or recent graduates looking to gain experience in editing, publishing or communications.
